We're pleased to introduce the first edition of Rated SRTM - Socially Relevant Film Festival New York to be launched March 14-20, 2014.

Rated SRTM is devoted specifically to filmmakers and fans of entertaining and commercially viable movies that achieve box office success without resorting to gratuitous violence, vices and sensationalism. The festival will take place in New York City, the entertainment capital of the world.

Founding Artistic Director Nora Armani launched the festival at the Cannes Film Festival 2013 with a team of collabortors, and connected with filmmakers, panelists, distributors, sales agents, partners and colleagues.

Rated SRTM strives to deliver Socially Relevant films that shine a spotlight on human stories with a relevant message or cause. It will take place at the Quad Cinema in Greenwish Village in New York City, with panels taking place at the School of Visual arts SocDoc department, as well as the Center for Remembering and Sharing, two of the partners of the festival.

Filmmakers from around the globe with socially relevant stories are encouraged to apply and become invovled.
